Short-Term Beautician Course in Delhi: What You Can Learn in 1 Month

P D’s Beauty Salon one-month beautician course in Delhi with professional makeup training.

Quick Summary:

Not sure if a beauty career is right for you? A short-term beautician course is the best way to find out without committing six months. Our Beauty Essentials Course at PD Beauty Academy in Rohini is a 1 month beautician course for complete beginners. It covers waxing, skin knowledge, facials, haircare and salon professionalism, with practice on real clients. The fee starts at ₹15,999, and you get a certificate on completion. Here’s what one month can realistically teach you, who it suits, and where it can lead.

“Didi, mujhe beauty line mein aana hai, par pata nahi mujhse hoga ya nahi.”

I hear this from so many women. A homemaker whose children have started school. A girl who just finished college and doesn’t want a desk job. A woman who has always done her sisters’ facials at home and wonders if she could do it professionally.

They’re interested, but they’re not ready to commit six months and a large fee to something they’ve never tried. And that’s completely fair.

That’s exactly why we created the Beauty Essentials Course — our one-month beautician foundation course.

What Is a 1 Month Beautician Course?

A 1 month beautician course teaches you the core basics of salon beauty work in a short, focused time. Some academies call it a basic beautician course. It’s not a full diploma, and I’d never pretend it is. Think of it as your foundation — the skills every beautician uses every day, taught properly from the start.

At PD Beauty Academy, our Beauty Essentials Course runs for one month. Because our academy runs inside our working salon in Rohini, you don’t just learn in a classroom. You see how a real salon works, and you practise on real clients from early in the course, with your trainer guiding you.

What You’ll Learn in the Beauty Essentials Course (H2)

Waxing. Waxing is one of the most booked services in any parlour, so it’s where many beauticians start earning. You’ll learn how to wax different areas properly, how to prepare the skin, and how to work hygienically and comfortably for the client.

Skin knowledge. Before you touch a client’s face, you need to understand her skin. You’ll learn the basic skin types, common concerns like dryness, oiliness and tanning, and why the same product doesn’t suit everyone.

Facials. You’ll learn the steps of a professional facial — cleansing, exfoliation, massage and finishing — and how to give a client a relaxing, effective treatment from start to end.

Haircare. The basics of hair and scalp care, so you can understand a client’s hair and guide her with simple, honest advice.

Professionalism. This is the part people forget, but clients never do. How you greet a client, how you keep your station clean, how you talk, how you manage time — this is what makes a client come back to you.

Along with these, you’ll pick up the other core skills every beginner needs to feel comfortable working in a salon.

What One Month Can — and Can’t — Teach You

I’d rather be honest with you here.

In one month, you can learn the foundations properly and build real confidence. Many students finish able to handle basic waxing and facial clients with care, and some start taking small appointments for family, friends and neighbours.

But one month won’t make you a senior beautician. It doesn’t cover professional makeup, haircuts, hair colour or advanced facials. Those take more time and their own training.

That’s why I always say: Beauty Essentials is a beginning, not an end. If you finish the course and love the work, you’ll know exactly which direction to grow in. And if you realise it’s not for you, you’ve found out in one month, not six.

Who This Course Is Right For

Homemakers and housewives. Many housewives in Rohini and North Delhi join this course as their first step back into earning. The short duration and flexible timings — morning, afternoon or evening batches — make it easy to manage around home and children.

Students and fresh graduates. If you’ve just finished school or college and you’re curious about the beauty industry, this course lets you test it properly before choosing a longer qualification.

Career changers. If you’re working in another field and thinking of switching, one month is a low-risk way to find out if beauty work suits you.

Women planning a small home parlour. If you want to start with basic services at home, this course gives you a solid starting point. You can add more skills as your clients grow.

You don’t need any prior experience. Our beginner courses start from the very basics.

Beauty Essentials vs Other Courses at PD Beauty Academy (H2)

Choosing the right course matters more than choosing the longest one. Here’s how Beauty Essentials fits with our other courses.

If you only want to do your own makeup, our Self Makeup Course (6 classes, ₹4,999 onwards) is the better choice. It’s for personal use, not a career.

If you want a complete beautician qualification, our Beauty Culture Course is a 6-month certified diploma (₹39,999 onwards) covering skincare, facials, Hydrafacial and ozone facial, waxing and threading, salon management and business skills. Many students do Beauty Essentials first and then move on to the diploma.

If you’re interested in hair, our Hair Cutting Course (3 weeks, ₹9,999 onwards) is a quick, practical next step.

If makeup is your passion, the Makeup Artist Course starts at one month and ₹19,999 onwards.

If you’re still unsure, my guide on how to choose a beautician course in Delhi will help you decide.

Fee, Batches and Certificate

The Beauty Essentials Course fee starts at ₹15,999. Fees can vary slightly by batch.

There are no hidden charges — no registration fee, no exam fee and no certificate fee. Instalment payment is available too: a deposit secures your seat, and the balance is paid during the course.

Batches are small, with a maximum of eight students per trainer. Classes run three to five days a week, and you can choose a morning (10 AM–1 PM), afternoon (1 PM–4 PM) or evening (4 PM–7 PM) batch. New batches start every month.

When you complete the course, you receive a certificate from PD Beauty Academy. We also offer placement assistance — we actively connect students with salons that are hiring, though I won’t promise anyone a guaranteed job. And you stay part of our lifetime alumni network.

You can compare all our fees in my guide to beauty course fees in Delhi, and read why training close to home makes such a difference.

“Every beautician I know started somewhere small. One month is enough to find out if this work makes you happy. If it does, I’ll be here to help you take the next step.”
